Good morning.

Glad to see all of you here today and is everybody knows we have a special speaker today. We're looking forward to having him come and share with us today. And so as we've gathered to worship, let's focus. Okay, let's focus on the Lord. Okay, or scripture reading is from Ephesians chapter 3. Verses 14 through 19. For this reason. I bow my knees to the father of our Lord Jesus Christ. From whom the whole family in Heaven and Earth is named. That he would Grant you according to the riches of his glory to be strengthened with might through his spirit in the Inner Man. That Christ May dwell in your hearts through faith, that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints. That is the width, the length and depth and height. To know the love of Christ, which passes not knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. The seam of our service today is the Holy Spirit. And so it's all of us. We we have to realize and keeping our memory are thinking that we can't do anything without the help of the Holy Spirit. We can't live the Christian Life and this is this is a good news really? It's not bad news. It's good news that we can't live it in our own strength but we can with the help of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit live in the Christian Life through us and and letting your light shine to the world so that they can see Christ in us. And as we allow his Spirit to shine through as he received the glory for whatever we do, and he gives us the neighbor to do that. And over in Deuteronomy, it tells us that as our day, so sure, strength be Day by day. Gives us the strength through the power of the Holy Spirit. Aren't you? Glad for the Holy Spirit? We don't really you know what we really don't talk about the Holy Spirit a whole lot. We talk about you to talk about God but we really don't talk about the Holy Spirit and what the Holy Spirit can enable us to do with each other in our midst. And you know, things can get kind of dry and drab. If we, you know, if we don't really focus on the fact that the Holy Spirit has given each of us certain gifts and abilities. And so we need to learn what those are. And we need to allow God to work with the power of the holy spirit in us and through us. So as we go through our service today, let's just focus on that. Let's focus on what the holy spirit means to us. Personally, What he has done in our lives and what he is able to do in each of our lives and through it. So less as we let's pray together as we start our service today. How many father we thank you for the privilege of being able to be here today. We thank you, Father for each and every one those that have joined us online. We pray that your blessings will be upon them, that you would help them today, for whatever reason, they were able to be there here today and Father rather that bees are other application or illness. We just pray father that you would just be with and help them to focus in on the service today and to be blessed by your presence. Thank you for each one that's here. Present that you would bless each one that you were blessed in positions that you would bless the sound through that everything will work at cordage to your will. We pray for our speaker brother. Steve pasture seed as he comes and ministers to us today that your spirit Speak through him. What we need to hear today. We thank you and we love you for all that you've done. And for bringing us through another week of activities and things that we've had to do and even frustration moments. But we think of that we're here and we're ready to worship you. So help us today. Father, we love you and thank you for all that you're going to do. I need to borrow lives in Jesus name. Amen. Songs about heaven today. So let's all Stand Together.

I'm sorry.

My favorite.

Prayer, we're going. Come Holy Spirit, will send you that twice?

For pastors to come to pray for us. We remember each other in prayer, as you know, we transition into going from the new Mash possibility of possibility. We want to pay for those, of course that are not here today. We want to pay for past a Debbie, as all of, you know, she's not been feeling. Well, it was just ask God to give her the strength she needs. I only want to pay for George and Pastor George. You can, is there a way there in Nelsonville? He's still trying to. Thank you, start. Trying to get the house done down there, so we need to pray for that prayer for him. And we want to pray for brother, Joe, Mary's, Mary's husband as he still dealing with physical issues and we would just want God to intervene in his life and helped him. We want to play for Sarah and her situation with her back. And we just need to just continually lift one another up in prayer because we are living in a day, folks, where evil is becoming more rapid and more prevalent than. And it's just, it's just getting bad out there. The world is just, it is just unbelievable. So we need to as a church. We really need to stick together that there is strength in numbers. I believe that cuz when we come together and when we pray and when we trust God and believe together and we're all of One mind and one Spirit, God can do amazing things. So as Pastor, Steve comes to pray for us today. Let's remember these requests. If I forgotten any you'll forgive me and you can still pray

how good morning the Bible says that the prayers of a righteous man, availeth much. And you know, prayer is absolutely vital. In our spiritual walk. And it sounds like there are many people in this congregation and even extended, just one and maybe, even two people out that still need a touch from the Lord into this morning. As we go to prayer. I don't, I may not remember your your things going on in your life. And what I do want you to know is that God knows he cares. Deeply. He understands because what he went through it, Jesus went through the very same things that we go through and so this morning as we pray, I want you to lift up, not just yourself but in those moments, lift up others and say Lord, I'm going to intercede for someone else. I want to take a moment to do that tonight. If you will, I'd like to do that for you as well.

Heavenly Father, what a privilege to come into the throne room. And we understand that prayer is just not an action but it's a change in location. And so Lord as we come into the throne room as we come in front of a holy God, we are in all of you. Lord we don't come as Beggars, we don't come asking for scraps off the table but we come confidently, knowing that you will provide everything that we need. Lord, you are so good to us. You are you're just like a good father, who wants an audience with his children? He wants to know their needs. He wants to know what's going on. And so this morning, we take that opportunity to come into the throne room. Lord, we come for the things that are going on in our own lives. But Lord, I want to come this morning. for those needs that are going on in this, this church, Lord, I hear so many of those that are are in need of a physical touch. Lord, you designed us, you know, our bodies better than anyone could, and so Lord, we call upon the great physician. We ask that Lord, you would intervene, but Lord, the first thing that we always ask, Lord is make sure that the physical is second to the spiritual Lord. We ask that you would intervene intervene, spiritually, Lord, and for those who don't know, Jesus Christ may that be there first introduction to Jesus. And Lord, I pray God, for those Saints, who are dealing with physical issues where I pray, God, that she would come forth in this morning, allow the Holy Spirit to embrace them and surround them. I pray, God that you would touch them from the top of the head to the bottom of their feet. So Lord that you would overwhelm their situation, Lord Hughes doctors, use the necessary things, but we know that you're able And we are trusting you for our health and our future. where do I pray God, that everything that we do after this point, Is done to uplift your name. And Lord shall we? Thank you that we can gather around and we can listen to the words being said not by this guy but by the Lord by Jesus himself. Lord, I pray to God that this message would be a mouthpiece of what you want to say. And so Lord, I thank you again for the honor and privilege to come into the very throne room this morning. And I pray God, that in these moments were challenged and that Lord, our attention is focused on what you say and what you are trying to say to us. And we ask all this in your son's precious powerful, and holy name. Amen.

You know, it's a very honor. It's a very big honor and privilege to be with you this morning and I hope it's as we as we leave the service, I get to meet each and every one of you in it. It really is a wonderful time in the Lord to be able to gather around the Bible and experienced something from God. And I never take it for granted, no matter where I'm at, no matter what I'm doing when we're around the word of God. And where Ken together. It's a great opportunity for the Lord to do his work. And so this morning as we start I want you to first to turn to Galatians 5.

As a I was asked to speak, you know, God's been really dealing with my heart in a in a particular way and I've been in Exodus and in my own personal time until Lord. I was like, Lord I I really enjoy Exodus. Unlike Lord, let me preach in something that I really enjoy and he looked at me and he said, that's not what I want to say. And so I said Lord. Okay. So what do you want me to say? And so, He led me to Galatians. And I want to bring some things out to you this morning, Dad. John's pressed on my heart and that I think that as we go forward as the church, that it'd be an emphasis of not just our own personal life, but as the church, And so I simply called this. Why aren't we running? Why is the church not running? You know, we have these times in history in which we see the church They step back from society and we see what happens when the enemy games ground. And so this morning, Paul in Galatians 5 is dealing with a child who is having a difficult time but not being able to move forward. They're not able to run and Paul and Galatians 5 is going to talk about that.

But as we look at the church as we examine We ask ourselves is the church making Headway in society.

And so we have to answer that question, honestly. Do we feel effective in the society?

You know, sometimes we even feel a little disconnected and taken back by what's going on in society, that things are being said, and things are being done in which we as the church go.

We don't want any part of this. But for some weird reason. He feels like the enemy has got The High Ground. Well, this morning, we're going to see what Paul says. to the Church of galatia when he says, look, it may seem Like you're not moving forward but I'll tell you what you can do to find that movement again. Amen to what does our church in this day and age? Need to find movement in society. You know, Paul. He understood his audience when he spoke and Paul knew he was talking to people who came from Barbarian Roots, that's where delay. She came from. And so he knew how important it was to identify the problem so that they could move forward. Amen. I'd like to pray before we read God's word. Heavenly father. Again, we ask in these moments. That you would open our eyes. Lord. We we, thank you, God, for the privilege to open your word and see what you are trying to say to us. Where I pray, God, that, what's being said, would challenge our hearts, but Lord not discourage us, but remind us that we have authority in you. Lord. I thank you again for these wonderful people and Lord as we spend just a little time in your word Lord that it would make it great way in our heart and that it would give us something to think about to meditate in abide with and Lord, we ask that all this stuff in your name. It's not about the guy at the podium. It is about you and it is about your son.

And we ask all this in your holy name. Amen.

So, let's read a little bit of Galatians, shall we?

so, Galatians 5 States this For freedom. Christ, set us, free stand firm, and do not submit again to the Yoke of slavery. Take note. I Paul, I'm telling you that, if you get yourself, circumcised Christ, will not benefit you at all. Again, I testify to every man who gets himself circumcised that t is obligated to do the entire law. You will who are trying to trying to be justified by the law or alienated. From Christ. You have fallen from his grace but we eagerly await through the Spirit by faith. The hope of righteousness for in Christ. Jesus neither circumcision or uncircumcision. Accomplishes anything. For what matters is faith. And working through love. Now here's where Paul is, starting to address the issues of galatia. He says look you got some things going on, you You are talking about things that you are attaching to the gospel.

And in this Society, what does the society need? It needs the truth. It needs the truth and Paula saying, think about how dangerous it is to give the gospel. And attach an untruth to it, it creates confusion, and soap, all states in the next verse.

Verse 70 says you were running. Well, Who prevented you from being persuaded regarding the truth. This persuasion does not come from those who call you a little leaven will ruin the whole do.

I myself am persuaded in the Lord. That you will not accept any other view, but whoever is that is confusing. You will pay the penalty. Now, brothers and sisters. If I still preach circumcision, why am I being persecuted in this case of offense of the cross? The offense of the Cross has been abolished. I wish those who are disturbing you. That they might themselves being mutilated. Paul's very blunt in the fact that he says Church, he said, if I'm still adding to the gospel, then I have taken away the effectiveness of the cross.

How dangerous is that?

You know. As we keep going, I want you to understand. That Paul spoke about slavery at the very beginning. But why was he speaking about slavery to the church? Did anybody ever asked that question? He said, I'm telling you not to go back to the Yoke of slavery. The reason why is because we have a different understanding of what slavery is. You know, we have a historical reference of what slavery is or is to us. And in that terrible time in the 1600 when slavery was taking somebody by force and removing them from their Homeland to servitude and humiliation and abuse.

The enemy understands that. That's not the kind of slavery, that's effective. What effective is when slavery is something you volunteer for? Sin, is that very same way. It is the slavery. That you are willing to sign up for. And many people in our society is still signing up for it, Hook Line & Sinker. And so Paul is trying to let them know, listen. You have something so valuable, don't misconstrue what's going on. And so his message to them over all his freedom.

So how is freedom effective? You say, hey. We're free. But what happens? if the Police kick in your door and take you to jail. What happens to your freedom then?

We have a sense of Freedom that no matter what happens to this man, Freedom, Fallas. Hey man, and so this morning, I want to just take you back. I think if sometimes it's just nice to go back and say, what am I free from? So, we're going to start there and then we're going to ask ourselves. What does we have freedom? What does the Liberty that we get to use and live in? Amen. Amen. So Paul, and his Disney themed to Glacier. He said, look, you have freedom. So what are we free from? Well, first of all, it's the freedom of sin

And there's no better way of encapsulating Freedom. Then our savior's words, and in John 8, 34 through 36. He says this, so Jesus responded, truly, I tell you everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. A slave does not remain in the house forever but a son does remain forever. So if the son sets you free, you are. I'll come on Church. You are you're you're free. and so, when we think of Freedom now you say pastor, I've had Jesus Christ, but guess what? We get to live in the freedom of accepting Jesus Christ. Amen. When it when we accept Jesus Christ that is where our initial Freedom comes from a men and it doesn't hold any more grips Say Amen. Amen. It holds no more grip on us.

Amen. Pastor present. God doesn't hold it to our account anymore. Thank you. Lord. And so, as we think about it, this freedom is not something that we can attain for ourselves. You know, most people today would say hey I'm a good person. I'm a good person. But guess what? Who were you comparing yourself to? And I'm talking to you on social media. If you're listening to my voice, who are you? Comparing yourself to? Because if you're comparing yourself to someone else, you may seem good. But if you compare yourself to a holy God, if you compare yourself to one, who has no flaw in him. We look a little different. Until this morning, I want you to think about that. There's freedom in that Inn in Jesus, Paid that price, amen. But the other thing that we, I think we sometimes forget is that we had the freedom from inability.

John 8:43 through 47. Says it this way? Why don't you understand what I'm saying? This is the words of our savior because you cannot listen to my words. You are of the follow your father, the devil and you want to carry out your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he speaks it from his own nature because he is a liar. And the father of Lies yet because I tell you the truth, you do not believe me. You are my who among you can can fix me of scent. And this way, he was talking to the Pharisee because I am telling you the truth. You do not believe me. The one who is from God, listens to God's words, this is why you don't listen because you are not from God. This Freedom that were talking about. This inability is our inability to know God outside of God knowing us. And who in here. And I would say, who in here, I was raised in the church. I wasn't I wasn't raised in the church, so I knew nothing of God. And that's that inability to find him. But praise God, he finds us. In Jesus is telling him. Look, it's not your fault, it's not your fault, guess what? Because you are of the enemy, you are of the devil. But he sang look listen to my words. And Jesus is trying to make very clear that if you listen to me, you will be free from the inability of understanding who I am.

Amen. You know. Where am I able to comprehend him? The praise God. He invites us to a man. You know.

We have ties at have to be severed. You know, when we think of sin, we think of bondage which we're going to talk about in just a moment. But in this moment Satan has us bound. We all go through it, we all come from the very same place and so we all have the same need, which is, we need to be free to know. In Jesus, did that the Israelites they came into a system where they could know God and experience God, we have already been, we have already made it because Christ made the way. Hey, man. So No matter what. In this point, no matter what, when we are introduced to God, we still had that very same freedom to know that he is available for us and he's available for this Society. and I want you to understand that this Freedom that we're gaining that Christ games for us, it yield something, But the freedom doesn't stop. Amen, the freedom from bondage. Who in here would say that. That's probably one of the most important things in this society today. Let me ask, does anybody here know of anyone who is bound to change of addiction?

Maybe they're there held held down. Bison. And that doesn't necessarily mean, just alcohol and drugs that can be pornography. It can be gambling. It can be any of those things that the enemy says, you know, what everybody else is doing it. Society. Hey, they have a a saying YOLO you only have one life. Misha. That's not why. That's not life. But serving God following Christ. That's a life. Hey man. And you know what? If I was to ask many of you, you would probably say you're you're right and I would do it again but guess what? We're free. We're free. Amen. Romans 6. 20 says it this way for when you were slaves, too, thin You were free in regard to righteousness. So what fruit was produced, then from the things that you are now ashamed of The outcome of those things is death. You know. I can remember and I hope as were were were around God's word that you can remember a time where you say, you know what, I I do have things that I'm not proud of Because it reminds us of where we came from. Just remember that those things that you went through, That's in that you were ashamed of. Is it is nothing in comparison of what happened when you were free from them. Amen. So you don't have to dwell on the past but it is a nice reminder that. God has rescued you. From that. We don't have to go back.

We don't have to experience it anymore.

You know that's a paycheck that without Jesus Christ in his grace and mercy, we would have had to cash ourselves.

Aren't you glad? We don't have to pay up.

You know, I am so thankful. I'm thankful everyday that Jesus Took My Place.

When he was on the cross, I was on his mind. Hey man. you know, it it reminds me that that job is so. He is so wonderful in the way that he captured, what he wanted to give us in his word. Amen. It reminds me of the children of Israel, as I sometimes see, buddy here. Feel sometimes like they're the children of Israel sometimes. I've got their hardheadedness and the roughneck. But you know what? I get to celebrate in us. Something else if they are known for is their freedom. You know, the children of Israel were rescued from a place where they were trapped in a pressed. Amen. And without that without God's intervention, they would still be there.

and you know what, they still celebrate that even now they still look back to Yahweh and they stay still celebrate the Passover and they say, Yahweh rescued us.

And that's been thousands upon thousands of years. Are you still celebrating in Freedom?

In that good isn't using God. Good for revealing his word to us. But let's finish cuz it says. But now, since you have been set free from sin in, this is the end of Romans 6:23 through about 22, he says, but now, since you are a been set, free from sin and have become enslaved to God, You have your fruit which results in sanctification and the outcome. Is eternal life. Amen, you know.

I can't think of a better Master to serve. You know, when it says, you know, you have now been enslaved to God. Does anybody here feel enslaved? Cuz I don't.

you know, the interesting thing about is when he says that you have fruit which results in sanctification You know, I heard a great illustration one time about what sanctification is and basically said, you know what? When you get saved God, forgives you for being dirty. But it doesn't clean you out. Sanctification is that point in which the Holy Spirit starts to scrub you clean? Hey man. Isn't that good? And so as we look at the benefits of being enslaved to God and slave to Jesus Christ, in those times, he's cleaning us up. He had a lot of cleaning with me. He needed a heavy bristle brush and a lot of soap. But you know what? I'm thankful for that. Amen.

the last thing that he sets us free from his deadness, You know.

Actually, I went went too fast. Ephesians 2 1 through 5 says it this way and you were dead in trespasses and send in which you previously walked, according to the way the world, according to the ruler of the power of the near the spirit. Now, working in disobedient to Disobedience. We to all previously lived among in these fresh fleshly desires. Carrying out the inclinations of our flesh and thought. And we were by Nature children under wrath as others were also.

But God. I want you to, I want you to do, if you have a Bible or you said, hey if you don't have, but God, underlined or highlighted do it, But God, who is rich in Mercy because of his great love that he has for us, made us alive. With Christ, even though we were dead. In press passes. You know, I have you ever heard the saying that Jesus didn't come to make bad people good, but to make dead people alive?

That's what he does. When he sets you free. When you meet Christ, you were spiritually dead. You are dead as a doornail. But in that interaction in that moment saying God, I know that I send and that you are the only way.

And then I accept you, right? Then you breathe your first spiritual breath.

And if you haven't online, if you haven't, I want you to know that you can breathe spiritually for the first time, it's like taking a big breath of oxygen after walking up the stairs for me, but anything else but just remember That you're looking at a, a pastor who was in your same shoes. We all came from Disobedience and I think sometimes as the church, Because of our freedom, we forget that others, desire. That freedom do you desire? That freedom. What others desire? That freedom. You know, I I I came across an illustration, you know, us as pastors. We we get instructions from everywhere, but there was a pastor by the name of AJ Gordon and he Pastor to church in Boston and he met a young boy in the front of his sanctuary and he was carrying a rusty cage with with several nervous, flapping Birds. And Gordon inquired to the boy said, son, where'd you get those birds and the board reply? We know what I trap them out there in the field? He said, what are you going to do with him? And he said, well, I'm going to play with him. He said, then I guess I'll just feed him to the old cat at home.

So Gordon. He said, you know what? I'll buy those birds from you. Emma Gordon offered to buy. I'm the lad exam he said Mr. You don't want to buy these birds. They're just old wild birds there. No songbirds. And Gordon replied. I'll give you $2 for the cage and the birds and he said, all right, that's a deal. He said, but I think you're making a bad bargain. So the exchange was made the boy went on his way whistling and enjoying his victory. And so Gordon the next week, brought the rusty cage in. To the pulpit and he set it up on the stage. and so, he took the empty cage and He showed it to the congregation and he said, look. He said. I paid for this cage in the same way that Christ paid for us. said that boy told me the birds were not songsters, but when I release them, He said they went a wing their way heavenward. it seemed to me that they were singing redeemed, I redeemed redeemed, You and I have been held captive. The Christ has purchased our pardon, he didn't just buy off the judge. He took the cage.

Now, it's for us to not, go back in it. Hey, man. That's what Paul is talking about in in Galatians. He's trying to let them know. I said, listen. You don't need to go quickly back. You don't have to go back to the cage.

But you can you can experience freedom for eternity. Even on this side of life.

But here's a, here's something else that I want you to get is that freedom comes with liberty and what a wonderful thing to talk about on Memorial Day. Freedom and liberty and in the same way I want to just it as a moment. I want to thank those who have given and sacrifice some and even to those who sacrificed all from one service member to another, I want to say thank you for paying the price. but remember that you did this for a country who is governor under God,

and so as we look at who we are, and we look at what we fight for, we fight for liberty and freedom but also, We fight for that, spiritual Liberty and freedom right here in our very churches. Amen. And so thank you to those who served and who those who had loved one to pay the ultimate price. We thank you, dearly. For your sacrifice.

So, we asked and I promise, I'm getting towards the end, but There are some Liberties that we get. And in Galatians 5, in the same chapter that were in. We're going to go down a little bit. At verse 13. and so, he said, for you, we are called to be

Free. Let's say it. You were called to be free. And so he said now, brothers and sisters. Do not use this freedom for an opportunity for the flesh.

When you have freedom and I know I'm starting to move, sorry when you have freedom. It gives you the ability to move. Amen, you're not bound, you are not in the same spot and so this Liberty that breeds. When you are free, is hard to contain. And so, but we need to ask ourselves. What do we have the Liberty to do?

First one. Paul tells them, you have the Liberty to love, like, no other.

You know, there was a famous saying that nobody cares until they know how much you care. This world is all about themselves. So how do we defeat what the enemy is doing on this me first Society? What do we have to do? Remember. They don't care until they know how much we care.

And it's hard, it's hard. The enemy is helping to draw lines and make it even more difficult to reach people who are far away from Christ. And he does that in systematic way. She tries to draw party lines. He tries to draw lifestyle lines. He tries to draw all these lines, so that Christians won't cross the barrier. Now, I'm not saying Crossing it by doing it, I'm saying Crossing it so that we can in love, reach them. Jesus himself broke cultural barriers when he just walked to a well he sat down by a Samaritan woman and he said,

and what was that woman's response?

You talkin to me? Why did you do that? They're not, you're not supposed to talk to me, your Jew. Samaritan. We have the Liberty to love, like, no other in Jesus did it and he was accused of loving and being with sinners, Not. Carrying along with them, but loving them.

That's a hard Freedom, you know how difficult it is? To love somebody that you know, doesn't love you back.

But guess what? The Liberty that we get from our freedom in Christ, gives us the ability to love. I wrote this. I said we don't have to be afraid to love the love that we offer can take the rejection because it's patient. This love can withstand attack because it cares for nothing about reciprocity. This love is open and this love is available. We don't have to be scared to love other people. Most of us are hesitant.

and we're hold that regard, but we can love With all of our heart. We can love others. We can love them the way that Jesus loved us first, and how radical was that love? Amen. now we also gained another Freedom, we have the Liberty to abide in Freedom

James. The brother of Jesus said it this way said, but no one looks intently in the perfect law freedom. And preserves in it. I mean short again, but the one who looks intently into the perfect law of freedom and preserves it and is no longer a hearer, but a doer of of works. The person will be blessed in what he does. Now James is a big Works guy. He said, look, if your love and your faith, Are abounding in you, it should yield. Good works. But he also says this, he says preserves it, some other translation say abide. I don't know if it says abide Abide. That's a word we've lost. I want to give you an illustration of what abide means abide is like chewing gum. And you saying pastor make a point. It's like chewing gum when you chew a piece of gum, do you chew it two times and swallow? Know what you are trying to do is abide with that gum. You are chewing it. You were working it. You were taking out the sweetness. You were sucking the nectar down because you were abiding, but that gun. Guess what? In the same way that you would chew a piece of gum is the same way that you can abide in the very Liberty and freedom that Christ has given. It's not something. That we are just content with. I'm just free. You ever heard people say that we're a free country?

That's contentment. That's a Content. That's a contentment. That Christ said we don't want that to be. We want you to live and enjoy the in fast, in the liberty and the freedom that comes with a relationship in Jesus Christ. And it's available to everyone. And then we had the ability to live in confidence. You know, many of us. And maybe you were in a different part of your walk but I know when I had rededicated my life to Christ I had a certain problem. I had a problem that I didn't want to act like that around of the people didn't mean I enjoyed. I didn't want to go out and hang out and do the things that they did. But I also was didn't want to say I'm a Believer. Hey, do you want to come to church? and so, Psalms David said it this way, he said I will walk freely. In open places because I seek your precepts. David basically said, look, I have overwhelming confidence. In what you say. Who in here would say that. If somebody could say something about you, they would say that person. Trust God. That person when, when I look at them, they really trust God, because everything they do is based on what God has said about it. I want that to be my legacy. I want people to say you know that guy even though it didn't make sense he believed what God Said. Amen. That's, that's a goal that we should all have. But I want to.

I want to just start closing. We have this Freedom, we have this Liberty and Paul at the very end and I think most of us who have been in the church for a while, understand that? This is where the fruits of the spirit come from. The one things I want you to understand is that freedom It breeds movement. Remember I said, why are we not running? Why are we not turning my we not spin it, why? We just spinning our wheels and not moving forward? Well, here's why. Because the choice is up to the church.

Because Paul identifies at the very end, what do you say? Do not use this freedom

To do things of the flesh. Choosing a flash. First of all, it gets rid of your freedom. You know, in this path we have freedom in Christ in the holy spirit's power cuz that's where the power comes from. We either can choose the Holy Spirit or we can choose to follow our own flesh. This is that trajectory point in which you are going to be launched in one way or another. And in the church. We do have those people who they're here just to only here. and when they go, Home on Sunday. That's it. Add the rest of the week is live. How I want to live, do what I want to do and then on Sunday, I'm going to come on back. Is there any freedom in that there any power in that? The only thing that it breeds is to hell? It takes away the freedom that you have in Christ and it also leads you in a direction of sin and selfish desire. How many of us would say that if we looked at people who are going to church right now in an objective way, how many of those people are Sunday? Christians only That's only a question that you can answer and a my prayer is for you to not just be a Sunday Christian but as you walk out of here that this is the trajectory to live in Liberty. Amen.

And again. If you choose to yield to the Holy Spirit, what comes is, what Paul says, is that you are going to have it away, you were going to have Heavenly characteristics, amen? And we could go through in and talked about each, one of the things about the sin that he identifies, and about the fruits of the spirit. But what I want you to understand is that do stone fruits Are only cultivated by a relationship, a close walking relationship with Jesus Christ and the yielding, for the Holy Spirit to have the right away.

He's the one that helps to cultivate the fruit in your life, not us. Our ability in this is he says, what you have to give the Holy Spirit right away. And then it will cultivate these characteristics in you. It's a byproduct. The byproduct of spirit lead people.

You know what Revival starts with? Spirit lead people. Amen. Does not matter what age does, not matter how it what you've done. Previously, it has nothing to do with it other than your availability. Are you available? Amen.

but the last thing that Paul says in his, His statement to them. He said, look. This yield something.

In the last words he says this, he says, let us not become conceited, provoking one, another or envying, one another because the spirit yields piece. With one another and it gives power to change the world.

you know, maybe right now you're thinking you know what I have freedom but I haven't been living in Liberty. so this morning, I want to give just a few moments for you to think about God. What am I doing with my freedom? Am I staying in a cycle that allows me to constantly go back to the Yoke of slavery. Is it this cycle that I just can't get away from? Or maybe you said, you know what? I'm in freedom, but I'm not moving. I'm not moving in Liberty. I'm not confident. I'm not, I'm not.

Gaining. The benefits of the Liberty that you've given me. Lord challenge our hearts. I asked the tech team back there, who've been amazing, so thank you very much, but I asked him to find a song. Now, it's a little newer, but it's a song that I want you to listen to the words. And it talks about a person who is led by the spirit and I want you to think in those moments, am I doing with this guy? Say, and singing about am I giving the right away to the Holy Spirit? Because guess what we want to make people understand that there is life change available, right?

We want that transformation, amen. All right, let's let's pray. I give you a little bit of time. Heavenly Father, your words The challenging. And L'Oreal.
